Review
4.25 out of 5 stars
For The Love of a Lush begins where A Lush Betrayal ends. If you have read this book (which I recommend) you already know all about Walsh and Tammy and their horrible break up. I am not gonna lie, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to enjoy this book based on my encounters with Walsh and Tammy in A Lush Betrayal. Tammy came across as a really bossy witch and Walsh was totally clueless. I am happy to say though, that I actually enjoyed their story more than Joss and Mel’s!
Walsh is struggling with his sobriety and his on the Double A ranch in Texas. Once Tammy shows up on the scene to try and win Walsh back, the fun begins. I could definitely connect more with Walsh and feel his struggles and pain more than I could before. He really has a great story and I enjoyed some of the back story of the he and Tammy’s relationship, such as their meeting when Tammy was 14 and losing their virginity to each other. They really had a sweet relationship and I was rooting for them to find their way back to each other.
Tammy came across as a really selfish, bossy person before, but in FTLOL she really made me like her and see her insecurities. She has been with Walsh since she was a teenager and really doesn’t know how to function in life without him in it. She has learned patience and how to hold her tongue since her breakdown. I really felt sorry for her because I know that she regretted sleeping with Joss from day 1. Will she push Walsh too much too fast? Or can they learn to forgive each other and more importantly themselves for their mistakes?
Side note: I really hated Mike in the first book; he was a total douchebag the entire time. I was floored by him in this book. I am so excited to see what Ms. Laurence has in store for us with his story. I love his sarcastic attitude and his loyalty to his friends and I adore his chemistry with Jenny. I can’t wait to read his back story!
Overall, if you love a good story with rock stars and drama, this is the series for you!

A Lush Betrayal
(Lush No. 1)
(Lush No. 1)
Joss Jamison has it all. He's the lead singer for the world's hottest rock band, Lush. He's wealthy, sexy, talented...and miserable. Twelve months ago, Joss lost his finely honed control and made a mistake he can't undo. A mistake that could end up costing him his best friend, his band, and maybe his heart.
Mel DiLorenzo has it all. She's been hired to document the world tour of her sister's fiance's rock band. She's gorgeous, talented, loved...and sick of being the little sister. When she agrees to the summer job, Mel has no idea she's walking into a minefield of friendships lost and hearts destroyed. She also has no idea what it means to be the object of Joss Jamison's affections.
One hot rock star plus one life-altering mistake, add a dash of sexy younger sister and a handful of broken hearts, and you've got a recipe for fire. Life on the road can be hot, but for the boys of Lush, it's about to get a whole hell of a lot hotter.
